All H.A.R.P. Site Security Personel selected to work on Contract Security are chosen based on their training and qualifications , as well as their leadership, interpersonal, and public relations skills. With highly qualified security officers a priority, H.A.R.P. administers a hiring process based on one used by police departments. Unlike many other security companies, H.A.R.P. only hires those applicants who have either a police background, or who have completed, or are attending, a Law and Security Program offered at the College Level. Regular visits to the site by H.A.R.P. Security Supervisors provides the Officer and management an excellent means of keeping the client continually informed on all aspects of the job.

Each H.A.R.P. Site Security Personel  projects an identifiable air of authority which is enhanced by distinct security uniforms. In order to meet any situation that may arise on the job, H.A.R.P. Site Security Personel are professionally equipped at all times. All Site Security Personel  have with them the resources particular to any contract, however, standard equipment consists of cellular phones and, to prevent transmissions from being scanned, portable radios. In this way all Site Security Personel are linked to a 24 hour communication centre. Should any situation escalate, the Site Security Personel can call for, and receive, immediate back-up. All H.A.R.P. Site Security Personel are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR as well as First Responder Fire Safety.
